Warmed up to 58 F today, so I threw on a sweater and the roadcrafter suit and went to search for Johnny.
No luck, but I did get a compliment on my k75 while on a stretch break south of Lone Rock. Went up to Viroqua for lunch, and then had to book it back home before it got too dark down rte 14.
220 miles overall. http://www.mappedometer.com/?maproute=570313 Beautiful clear day. I saw 2 redtail hawks, a peregrine falcon and 2 bald eagles too!

Looks like I was was just a bit ahead of you. I turned south at Lone Rock and went to the Potossi Brewery. Got home after dark with only one close call on a deer.

Nice! It was a beautiful day for riding. Cool to see one of my fellow madtowners on here too! I recognize a couple k bikes around town.
I saw one deer standing in the ditch by Gotham on the way home. Sun went down as I passed spring green and by then I was part of a convoy. The moon rising was incredible, too!
Potossi makes some good beer, they do cave ale, right?

Hey HerseyB, what mapping app are you using to track your route? I like that.
Cheers,

According to his original post here, it looks like he used mappedometer (http://www.mappedometer.com) for the layout.

Laitch is on to it. No automatic tracking for me - I just remembered the route and put it in by hand.

Yes, and the Gandydancer Porter - my preference. I cannot bring myself to purchase one of their six-packs locally, as it pales in comparison to a tapper right at the brewery.
