Title: Spline Grease?
Post by: Markus77 on November 06, 2016, 06:44:22 AM
Hi Guys,

Just wanted to ask what people are using for spline grease? Guard dog moly 525? Getting ready to do some fall maintenance and want to order what I need. Searched online and apparently honda doesn't make their moly 60 anymore. In any case, if you can let me know what you have used in the past it would be much appreciated:)

Mark

I used the KLUBER Staburags stuff.

https://www.amazon.com/KLUBER-Staburags-30-Lubricating-Assembly/dp/B01BR3H678/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1478444289&sr=8-11&keywords=spline+grease

GuardDog is no longer in business but some people still have it in stick.

There are 30-120 gram jars.

Ha. The one I recommended looks like a face cream. The other one looks like a nice lager.

The Honda Moly 60 is no longer available.  There is a replacement that is reported to be as good, but I can't recall what it is called.  Do a search on the forum and you will find threads where it is mentioned.
