Title: 85 K100 won't shut off
Post by: smith913 on October 31, 2016, 07:49:26 AM: I am having issues getting it to shut off via key or kill switch. The only true fire way to power down is to pull fuse 1. possible ICU issue? Otherwise I'll check to see if the starter relay is fused, could that be the cause?
Already cleaned ignition switch and starter brushes

The FI relay could be stuck on though.

You mentioned that you were in the ignition switch. Are you absolutely certain that you put it back together correctly?

A little more information will help a lot.

Post by: smith913 on November 02, 2016, 10:16:33 AM: I haven't checked the headlight, but everything else is still on. Almost as if the key/kill switch didn't do anything, I could probably go for a ride if I wanted to. Instruments stay on, I am using the acewell 2853 though.
I tried a spare kill/starter switch I had laying around so it's not that it's sticking. I'm pretty sure the ignition switch is correctly assembled.
