"It is considered one of the best brown trout fisheries east of the Rockies and has been designated a blue ribbon trout stream by the Michigan Departmen…"

Very nice, the wife has family (lots of it!) up around Traverse City. Great state!

Don in Nipomo

We're going up to do a Tunnel of Trees tour this coming weekend (M119)

We did tunnel of trees on this trip.  Total waste, it was a tunnel of bumper to bumper cars with zero color change.  They say the change is two weeks out at least.  The inland roads however are in full change in spots, and great riding and no traffic.

beautiful.  I've been toying with the idea of heading across to grand haven on the ferry, and taking an overnight ride up to manistee and back next weekend.

At $180 round trip, it's kind of extravagant  (for me) for one nights camping.  But I've been going up there since I was a child and it has been a few years now.  Probably depend on how chilly it looks to be!
