If the K series are known as "The Flying Bricks", what are the 2 cylinder BMWs called?  Namely, R1100.  Also, is there a forum for "R" cycles similar to Motorbrick?

The air-cooled flat twin R models are called Airheads. The air/oil-cooled R models like the are called Oilheads. I guess the water-cooled R models are called Wetheads. This is a interesting, comprehensive air-cooled R model forum. (http://vintagebmw.org/v7/)

Is there a forum for them similar to MOTOBRICK.COM? :hehehe

That's a term that complements motobrick and is a reference for both oil- and airheads.  :2thumbup: I haven't heard it much so it didn't stick with me. :giggles

I once rode a motoboxer...dealer loaned me an R1100RTP. I got the authentic experience, surging and all.

There are a few i wouldn't mind though to be honest...R100GS, R1100S, an HP2 (Sport or Enduro)
