Title: bmw k75 rebuild
Post by: ED on September 05, 2016, 06:44:08 PM
Bought a 1990 plate Bmw K75 RT in September of last year , finally with much help from the fantastic resources of this Forum we got her started on Saturday , I've put together a youtube video with some photos and and a little bit of video :

I took a lot of photo's at the beginning but less and less as the project went on , and apologies for the odd swear word.

took us a long time and we made many many mistakes (such as trying to start her without getting the fuel injectors seated properly) but it has been one of the most enjoyable things i've done. There's a great sense of achievement to be gained by taking something old and broken and fixing it up.We would never have managed it with out the information on this Forum (especially the electrics) so i would like to say a massive thankyou to everyone who has taken the time to share their experience and knowledge,
