Title: 2 Philly K100s
Post by: Motorhobo on August 29, 2016, 01:34:09 PM
There are two K100s for sale in Philly right now. The seller of the one below obviously is clueless about what a cafe racer is, because he's billing his item as a cafe racer although pictured is a stock K100 that looks like it hasn't been touched since the Middle Ages:

The second one is a bland-looking LT that is probably a good buy with just the right number of miles, sounds like the owner took care of it.

Allisonmo2, you might want to check these out if that red Alabama creampuff is too much of a statement for you.

How much does it cost in rubber hoses, fuel and brake lines, oil, filters, plugs etc?

I guess that depends on where you source said items, i.e. brake lines which you can get cheap or go for Spieglers which cost 100 bucks, and it depends on whether you want to replace everything or determine that some things aren't in need of immediate attention. I'd say the main thing would be tires which can be gotten cheap if you're OK with Shinkos.

I posted them here because they're in the price range most people would consider reasonable for a running k-bike and because they're in allisonmo2's geographical limit.

Nothing wrong with looking on the bright side. Garage kept, too! :hehehe :laughing-on-ground: Still, there are possibilities there, once a Dirt Devil has been unleashed on it.
