Title: I got oil in the coolant reservoir/radiator
Post by: achtung3 on July 21, 2016, 03:26:01 AM
Can anyone give some advice?

I got oil in the coolant reservoir/radiator, and took to have it checked, the weep hole is bone dry, and was told that the only other place is the head gasket.

Is there any other place that I should be checking?

I have a 1990 k75s.

Also can anyone tell me if the weep hole from the seal area to the outside of the pump housing should be open or is their some kind of restriction in there?
I was also able to obtain the older water pump slip-ring seal 11411741870.
Will this work with the old cast impeller or do I still need to convert to the newer impeller and spacer??
Also read the service bulletin about the new slip-ring seal after ordering parts. It's a different part#.
Thanks, Mel
