Day three with this lovely brick. It doesn't hiccup when I lug it-all my Hondas sputter and shake! I love that mechanical whine then the growl😀Ok ok..
My starter switch is very touchy breath on it and it spins that's ok but yesterday that starter didn't disengage a few times. Can I clean the switch? My Vw beetles had a brass shaft bushing that... Never mind I don't know this machine at all yet but it seems "honest"
My bike has what look like 4" back bars. I'm 5'7" more might be better although -I spent 10 hours on the thing comfortably yesterday. Is there a Down side to swapping to say T bars which I believe are wider and taller?
My emergency flatters don't work. Is there a fuse? Is the switch the likely culprit?
Thanks in advance.

Holy shit.

Holy shit.
That, coincidentally, is one of the sacraments at Brother Ace's church.

The switch can be cleaned; its spring might be losing tension or movement may be obstructed by grit.
The down side to handlebar swapping might be that you'll only be comfortable in the saddle for five hours.

Congrats on a great choice.
Make sure you don't get in the habit of "lugging".Pinking, pre ignition,Knocking or detonation, will ruin the top, end of the plated cylinders. These motors are happy to spin to the red line.Rev happy little things.
Don't have any emergencies,until you've sorted the crappy switch(probably).
All the best.
