What are the widest 17" and 18" tires I can mount on my 1992 K75 RT? I now have 100/90/18 (Front) and 130/90/17 (Rear).
-
front width will be determined by the tior hitting the fender bolts...
rear width will be determined by the tior hitting the swing arm...
other than that... figger out your wheel widths then start looking at tiors that fits those wheels that dont rub the forks or swingarm...

Should be good at 110 front and 140 rear.

Thanks TrueAce for the information I needed.

+1 on the 110 front. Rear more depends on which rear rim you have I've got a 140 on the Y spoke and it fits fine. The 3 spoke is 3" and you might be able to sneak a 150 in there.
A 4.5 x 18" from a K1100RS or R1100 may fit the monolever and would allow you to run a 150 or 160. I'd' find someone with a 4.5 with a tire that would let you fit it on your bike before going too far.

I've had 130's on the Y-spoke rear and had to shim the wheel out a few millimeters to keep it from rubbing the swing arm.
How do you manage with 140's?
