Here's a dumb (or ignorant) question- I have a 1989 K100RS, with factory heated grips. The heat works fine, it's just that the covers are torn up and slipping off. What size grips should I look for to replace them? Thanks!

You can answer it specifically by going to the Technical Library card catalog (http://www.motobrick.com/index.php/topic,666.0.html), scrolling down to Motobrick Modifications, clicking on K Bike Grips, then clicking on the pdf link.

greetings rainman...
welcome to motobrick.com...
i thinks what they are trying to say is next time you post up about what fits my motobrick perhaps you oughtta do your doo dillergence prior to making the post...
something like... i searched motobrick.com and found that folks here use the progrip 699 open end for heated grips... and i see an amazon link for only $8 bucks a set...
before i proceed i thought i would ask if you folks if you think i will tear up my grip heaters when changing grips...
i took the time to look up the oem part numbers... i see they are expensive... do you think i should go with kimpex or oxford or simpco or another aftermarket set like many here have already done...
