Title: 86 k100 fuel pump filter
Post by: phillip on May 20, 2016, 01:33:47 PM: :musicboohoo:built my wife a k100 trike several years ago, after lying unloved under tarpaulin in barn for last 3 years she decided she wants to ride again, emptied old fuel , got replacement 52mm pump but unable to find replacement fuel sieve, the part offered by motobin looks different from original one, also rubber fuel pump holder appears different, are they compatable, thanks phil, south wales

if you want to know what parts fits your moto...

1st... getts the last 7 digits of your vin and put in here (http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/select) to see what your moto really is...

2nd... then pick your moto here (http://www.maxbmwmotorcycles.com/fiche/PartsFiche.aspx)...

3rd... after you figger out the exact part number put it in here (http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/select) to see what all motos it fits...

4th... then put your questions in here (http://www.motobrick.com/index.php?action=search) and search it...

5th... make your post... include the part numbers you looked up... include screen prints to demonstrate you doing the minimum...

when you do the minimum your post will stand on its merits... if you choose to not do the minimum your post will be locked and pinned up on the wall of shame...

These guys are the bomb. Good parts&quick service and ahellofalot cheaper than BMW. You can look at the variations here.

Post by: phillip on May 21, 2016, 06:43:34 AM: sorry about not following guidelines but bought engine, tank from breakers and built own frame so no vin no just engine no 04ea 0285 2090, probably try to make own fuel strainer (wifes old tights )
