I have a recurring problem on my '86 k75. Most of the time runs great, but at times seems to run only on 1 or 2 cylinders-appears to have water in gas. Water seems to pool under the gas cap after it rains . Is there a seal I should be changing? Any ideas?

There's a kit you can buy at the dealer to replace all of the gas cap seals - part 16119062461.

And you'll want to make sure that the drain line for that is free and the cap with packing fitted such that the line is open at the top. It has a drain for the tank cover recess.

Thanks for the info guys. I'll check out the seals and drain
