I've just changed tires on my K75. I'd like to balance them too with the balancer thingy I have, and while it worked well on the front wheel, it didn't fit the rear (drum brake) wheel at all. The center hole is much to wide (and short). It seems to me I'd need two conical discs of sufficient diameter (and a 12 mm center hole to fit the 12 mm balancer bar) to make it work. I thought perhaps this is a problem others have seen and solved? Like, is there some sort of balancer adapter available?
Here's me balancing the front wheel:

This is what I use. Read this. (http://www.motobrick.com/index.php?topic=44.0)
Notice in the picture the different size to fit the rear.
His web site is listed there if you're using a 1/2 inch bar. I think that's what it is.

I have not tried a drum rear wheel but I do all the disc rears with a dynamic ballancer, it is especially good on the 4.5in RS wheel.

Oh, I'd completely forgotten about that thread.. ::) Sorry to stir up that particular kettle. I don't really remember why, but I ended up getting a static balancer. Thanks Mysic, I suppose Parne's part "BA12" is what I'm looking for. Guess I'll have a second look at those beads too.

Dyna Beads work fine for me. The physics behind it is correct. The Beads disperse to the lowest energy configuration, being balanced.

But they wouldn't work on Mystic Rod's fire engine because he doesn't understand the physics. :P
