Title: Oztrail Compactlite chair
Post by: Martin on March 20, 2016, 11:12:20 PM
I had been looking for a compact chair that I could easily keep in my tragkorb, I occasionally sleep by the side of my bike ( Don't ask why ). I had been using an self inflating cushion  and leaning against the bike, not the most comfortable. My daughter who likes camping a recently purchased compact camping chair by Oztrail, it seemed like a good solution. She bought her Oztrail compactlite chair at Outback Adventures for $40.00 Au on special normally $49.95. I went to the store on the weekend and they were out of stock on the Traveller, but had the next two sizes up Discovery $ 59.95 Au, Voyager $79.95 Au ( taller and has a head rest), and a stool come footrest $39.95. I tried to bargain him down on the Discovery but he would not move, but said they would have the Traveller in stock today. Went back today but still no Traveller, and as it was a different guy I tried to bargain again, and got the Discovery for $49.95 Au. When I got it home I decided it might be of interest to other OZ riders. It fits easily in the tragkorb, and assembles just as easy, it has shock cord running through the frame, so you can't assemble it wrong and the cover goes on pretty easily. And the chair is quite comfortable. The differences between the three seem to be a progression in width and height, with the voyager having the tallest back and a headrest. If you require more information it is available on the Oztrail website. Dimensions and weight Traveller 2.6 Kg, 67x56x76 cm up, 31x10x10 cm folded, Discovery 2.6 Kg, 74x60x90 cm up, 35x11x11 folded, Voyager 2.9 Kg, 72x60x102 cm up, 45x14x13 cm folded.
