Title: Strange thing goin on with wheels
Post by: bikesnbones on March 08, 2016, 03:51:37 PM
OK so I'm new to these bikes, so forgive my ignorance
I just did a like for like tyre change on my 1100LT.
I went for Metzeler roadtech Z6, as I can see from the history, the set I just replaced have lasted 7,000 miles, which I'm happy with.
My tyre fitters notices something strange though.
110/80 ZR18 on the front, all OK, but the rear is a 160/60 ZR18.
It looks like for some strange reason, my bike is sporting the rear wheel of an RS
 :dunno2:
I'm perfectly happy with my bikes handling and stability, but I'm a bit worried.
Is this "mismatch" of wheels OK ??????????

I'm perfectly happy with my bikes handling and stability, but I'm a bit worried.
Some might call that imperfect happiness, bnb.
