Looking for a good set of rotors, new or used.
-
I assume you are looking for front rotors. Do you need them with or without ABS ring?
I am about to put a pair of new EBC rotors on my 92. The current rotors (with ABS ring) are in good shape mechanically, but only fair cosmetically (a little paint and scrubbing could cure that). I might have them off by Sunday - but if not, it will be another week due to business travel. Send me a PM if the timing works for you.

I've got a pair of front rotors with an ABS ring you can have for the cost of shipping if you email me the prepaid shipping label.
They are from my 91 K75 RT with Y-spoke wheels, so check to see if they will fit your bike.
They are 3.78mm thick which is a little better than the 3.55mm minimum specification. (New are about 5mm.) They are not warped or rusty, but definitely used. Figure 11 pounds from 98501.

Without ABS ring, do you know the current thickness?

Thanks. I don't have a feel for how long it would take to wear to the limit. Is the ABS ring removable?

I just noticed you have non-ABS in your signature (missed that earlier).
The inner hub, or rotor-carrier, is different between ABS and non-ABS bikes. I read that many people were happy with EBC drilled rotors. They can be found for less than $200 each. They are interchangeable, but the ABS one is a bit heavier and would look sort of weird with the ABS ring removed.

There are lots of reputable sources for used parts, such as Beemer Boneyard.

Have you done a search on eBay for K75 front brake rotors? Seems they show up constantly. Last year I bought a complete front wheel with almost new two year old Metzler and a pair of good rotors for $100.

Took your advice and found some on ebay. $75 shipped! What a deal!
