Title: Wally World
Post by: The Mighty Gryphon on February 26, 2016, 11:23:54 AM
Just bought oil and plugs for my bricks at Walmart.

$21.36 per Gallon for Shell Rotella T6 Full Synthetic 5W40.

$2.92 each for NGK plugs.  Order online for store pickup.  Takes a couple days to get them in.   Use the NGK stock numbers for the best prices.  7839 for K75 and early K100 that use D7EA.  7912 for 4Valve K100 that use DR7EA.   Don't use the D7EA or DR7EA numbers or you will get a price of $6.96 each(don't ask me why).

I haven't ordered any yet, but I think there are similar deals on Mobil 1 transmission gear oil and oil filters.

Sounds good to me ....  Are the discount prices for NGK tickets to H*** available on the wire sets ? I will check out the Canadian Walmart for the same.

Moderator should re-post to the online parts source forum as well.

Hi,

came here to say that you mixed up the NGK parts numbers, it's 7912 for D7EA (2V K100) and 7839 for DR7EA (4V K100).

It's always helpful to provide verification when you're disputing assertions, max.

From the NGK site, these are provided here to verify the numbers.

Advance Auto Parts has that NGK plug for $2.49 and might have it in stock near you (if you have Advance stores in your area)

Blue is correct. The B (not the A) are correct. Same plug but the B has the proper end cap...Ask me how I know.

I had a set of Beru Ultra RO-002 plugs that lasted forever and I finally changed them out of pity.  Not that that has anything to do with anything.

Universal loving kindness has its very roots in spark plug empathy.
