Just thought Id do a shout-out.

Good Tools!!!

You will still need to add the .5mm piece of cereal box to the Main seal tool.

Another update to assure those interested that " Polepenhollow Valve Tools and Clutch Pilots " are still available. Prices for valve tools and clutch
pilots have not changed though the seal driver is now $49, all include S/H. As mentioned, remarkably quick, courteous response.

+1 on the clutch and valve tools.  I did find the valve tools are made of pretty soft steel and the edges burr up pretty easily.  A little bit of filing cleans them up, though.

Just recently got the clutch tool.  Having it in my tool box saves a bunch of time looking for something to align the clutch or fooling around trying to get the clutch assembled with unaligned parts.

Looks well worth the $$, I'll have to get the valve tools for sure.

I ordered his valve adjusting tools last year and they're great.

I still don't see the need for a clutch alignment tool for these though. I've had my clutch apart half a dozen times or so and never felt I needed one. Just eyeballed it, put the "pressure plate" on the "flywheel," got the trans up there and just pressed the throw out rod if needed and things slide together.

Would it be worth it to heat the tools and quench them in oil to give them a bit of hardening?

You probably could try to harden them a bit.  I would be careful not to make them so hard that they could scratch a shim or cam lobe.

No. Just use them correctly.

Thanks. I ordered a set of Ken’s tools. Hoping to check valve clearances this weekend or next.

I'm delighted to add that these are STILL available in 2025... I got my valve shim and clutch alignment tools earlier this year.

Good to know Ken is still selling these.  I bought my set many years ago.

I have not used the tools yet, though a valve clearance check is on the books for this season. The clutch tool I bought again possible future need - I seem to acquire plenty of tools that way... :)

A few weeks ago I got a 3D printer and thought I'd try my hand at designing and printing a case for them. Here's the end result:

It's the Ark of the Covenant for 2V shim adjustment!  103123 Brick would be a good color for it, too. Well done.
