Hi all,
I thought I would pass on a little recently acquired knowledge for Canadians looking for fork gaiters. Background: I bought gaiters from Dime City Cycle (online) out of California. I believe they retailed for USD 19.00 plus shipping. The things lasted me less than 3 months before rotting...couldn't believe it. Robert, from the fine City of Toronto, sent me some info that these units could be had for CAD 14.00 out of some shop in Markham. I called TDOT online as one possible source....CAD 33.62 + shipping. No, thanks. Called Partsource in Hamilton (not usually a big fan because their prices are a bit high) and was quoted CAD 8.99 each, to which I said "yes". No duty, no shipping, blah, blah, blah. So if you're in the market for these this is one reasonable option. If you can best this price please let us know. Partsource is about 5 minutes from where I live so I'm going with that. Tried Amazon (USD 3.99) but couldn't get the damn site to accept my order since they wanted me to spend at least $25 to get the shipping. Live and learn.
Good luck! And Merry Christmas to all....Seasons Greetings to those who take offense!!

Damn! I should get some of these soon (maybe next spring) as mine are getting fairly old and have started cracking. Nice to have something like this turn up right in my backyard.
Those should fit a 75 as well as a 100, shouldn't they?

For some reason, I can't see what gaiters you are talking about. However, I have used Rancho 1952 shock boots, which seem to hold up pretty well, and can be had pretty reasonably. There are others here who have used them successfully as well.

Yes, they will. Kris is referring to the Rancho RS1952 shock boots that are proven for the K-bikes. These boots are cheap because almost any automotive parts store can get them and they are offered cheaply on ebay and Amazon as well.

Oops...in my haste I forgot to mention the Rancho RS1952s. Sorry guys. And thanks Robert!
