Title: Rebuild of a K100LT

Why is this beast being such a pain in the backside, every task is a pain, everything is seized, it's now in bits all over the garage but the next challenge is the clutch, took all six bolts out and it's not budging, put three back in in case the spring kicks in and gentle tapping, nothing seems seized in place, how do I strip it out?

If it is stuck on the pins perseverance & tapping should eventually move it,although if it turns to **** or bust a slide hammer with claw shifts most things.There is a little footage of clutch removal in this Chris Harris vid.

Typically, the clutch pack seizes on the three alignment pins.  Use penetrating oil on the pins, let it soak in and try prying / tapping to get the clutch pack apart.  It can be stiff.
