Guys, did my water pump (replaced from spare engine) all good and thought it would a very good idea to check a number of other things out. Such as air filter, on taking out the filter/meter box there are the 2 small flat Allen screw bolts holding the meter, but nearer the large pipe feeding air towards the engine on a sloping part of the box is a hole about 10 mm going into the box and then a gap and then what looks like could be a screw hole into the meter?
Typically no drawings or mention of this in the Haynes manual, is it on purpose? To me it looks like air would get in without going through the filter, has a grommet or screw fallen out any - grateful for any ideas

I can only guess with out a picture, as I haven't owned an older 2V K-bike.
If I was to guess, I'd bet it is the adjustment pot for setting the exhaust CO2 mixture.

As in #5, should be a blank filler there. Part #13 72 1 460 802 "blind plug"

Thanks guys,
Had a feeling it was a bit dodgy, will source a plug before installing new filter and running again
