Title: Green LED lights in K75 dashboard
Post by: DavidMTX on October 10, 2015, 10:31:31 PM
I sent my K75s dashboard off to Overseas Speedometer in Austin. The odometer was no longer working and one bulb was out.
He replaced the bulbs with new LED bulbs. They have a green tent to them and the dash is much brighter than it ever has been. No more shadowy areas.  It is also cleaner in side. I attached 2 photos. Every thing works now.

He (Overseas Speedometer) has repaired the dash units for some time but they have just used bulbs up until now. Since I was a guinea pig he did not charge me extra.
It was around $250.00 to get the odometer gears replaced and calibrated. so, I am not sure what he will end up charging.
You can submit a request via his web site and he will email you the cost.

I have been to his shop when he repaired my unit.  It was a minor repair.  And I am the person that talked him into offering the LED upgrade that Frankenduck offered.  Glad it all worked out.
