Title: What highway pegs do you use on your OEM engine bars?
Post by: herseyb on September 21, 2015, 03:30:52 PM
I see Mystic Red is using the Longhorn Offset/Dually iso peg combo.

Anybody else want to chime in?  My bars are arriving tomorrow, so it's time to look at pegs!

I just bought a normal bolt on pair from a bike supply shop.  Don't use them very often but are nice for a break when the miles are adding up.  Here is a pic (mines on the left):

Scott where did you pick those up?  My knees touch the fairing on my k1100 and those are exactly what I'm looking for.

BMW makes or made a set that fits into the top of the bars where the plastic insert goes. Slick looking.   :bmwsmile

They are Kuryakyn Dually ISO pegs with offset mount.
I got mine from Motorcycle Superstore.

But you can get them from any Kuryakyn dealer. They offer other styles of offset as well. What I have are barely enough for my legs to get around the fairing of my LT, but they are more of a "leg" rest than a foot rest. I straighten my leg out and basically lay my foot on it at the ankle without putting any forward pressure on it, and was much more comfortable for me when riding.

Re:  Dually ISO Pegs With Offset Mount

They look good.

Come in different clamp sizes.

What is the crash bar diameter of the LT?

Thanks

I don't know, they may be low quality knock-offs.  :dunno

If you buy them, give us a product review.....

This is what I'm using. I found the brackets at a Harley consignment shop and used old Airhead passenger pegs.
