Title: Do Battery Tenders break or wear out?
Post by: billday on September 07, 2015, 04:45:56 PM: Just noticed that my trusty Battery Tender Jr. never gets to a full charge, even on a known-to-be-good battery. Do other people know them to wear out?

Post by: kenray on September 07, 2015, 05:41:22 PM: I don't know if they go bad or not. However I had one on my K100rs. Thought the battery was good, I was positive. Thought the tender was no good, would not charge the battery. Bought another tender same story. You know the end of story, battery had a bad cell. Now I own two good battery tenders. Ken in Katy tx.

Post by: billday on October 22, 2015, 07:36:56 PM: Answering my own question: Both my bikes have a Battery Tender cable permanently mounted for easy battery fluffing. Finally figured out that the 7.5 amp fuse in both cables blew. Why? No idea. But I can tell you that I should have checked that before I bought a second Battery Tender.
