Title: Universal Bottom Mount Headlight Bracket?
Post by: thornato on August 31, 2015, 08:26:42 PM
Hi all.....I am starting my first project bike ever so please excuse my cluelessness!

I want to mount a 7" bottom mount headlight on my k100.  Does anyone know if there are any universal bottom mount headlight bracket that will fit the tapped holes on the bottom tree???

Assuming you have removed the front fairing and now mounting the round headlight, you should have no need for the front fairing bracket. That will free up two holes where the bracket bolted to the steering head frame. Most on-line cycle stores have fork clamp brackets for round headlights, check out Amazon.

I have not seen one specifically for the K-100. A universal one could possibly be trimmed and drilled, or one could be made from some angle stock.

I bought my bucket and ears from Dime City Cycles. (http://www.dimecitycycles.com/catalogsearch/result/?cat=0&q=headlight)
