Title: Nicely modified K
Post by: Muddy90 on August 31, 2015, 02:15:50 PM
I don't post here very often, more of a lurker, but I've just come across this K currently featured in the Bike Shed.

Take a look, is it not a thing of beauty.

I wonder what that LED headlight beam looks like on the road and to incoming traffic.

Wow, never mind straight pipes, those are just cut to direct vents.

The full article mentions a custom made muffler. with stubby outlet pipes.

That "muffler" sort of reminds me of an early VW muffler, into a can with outlet pipes......I think that is very clever for a K100!  Do you suppose there's packing & baffles in there?

I hope so otherwise it would be un-rideable.

I'm not usually a big fan of "cafe racers" but this looks pretty good. One quibble is that there is not much area to carry stuff, but I guess if you are only going to a local cafe, you don't need any.
