Title: K75 fuse blowing
Post by: Larmol7 on August 31, 2015, 01:16:02 PM
Ive been trying to sort out my no starting k75s.  It keeps blowing the fuel pump relay fuse when attempting to start.  I replaced the fuel pump . The starter relay was broken ( one of the contacts had broken off,  the other one was fried.  I checked the ignition switch and start button,  didn't see any problems with them.

Any suggestions?
Thanks,  Larry

You are blowing fuse #6?
the wiring shows that fuse is after the FI relay, and after the fuse it goes to the fuel pump and also to the fan/temp relay control module.
The actual fan circuit is #7.

The temp control unit could be faulty, or the wire going to the water temp sensor behind the radiator could be skinned somewhere.
