You can switch to a regular (a.k.a. high) seat.

My recommendation is that you put up a free parts for sale ad at IBMWR and find somebody who wants to swap as inevitably there's somebody who wants to go the other way and all a swap will cost you is shipping.

As for seats:

Corbin - several styles but heavy - opinions vary on how good they are - I'm in the they're OK camp - I think the Dual Tour is the most comfortable
Sargeant redo - several styles
Rick Mayer redo - good seats
Russell Day Long redo - most comfortable but they look like a tractor seat
Mr' Ed's Moto redo - good reputation but I've never tried them
Factory "square" seat - hideously painful
Factory "comfort" seat - not bad

Hi, Jimmyk,
If you have the low seat and want the normal seat, you will need the seat, hinges, lock and (not required, but came with the normal seat models) battery covers.  You will need to remove the hooks at the back of the cowl, the clips stuck onto the tank, the rubber battery cover, the seat lock and the latching mechanism.  All that (including the seat and a key for the lock) could be traded for the stuff necessary for the normal seat.  Many people (like you) want the normal seat while many others (like my late wife) want the low seat.  Be aware, if you have a K75RT, without the pads on the tank, in summer the tank gets quite hot.  You don't notice it much with the rubber battery cover/tank pad used with the low seat.
