Recently fried the transmission on my brick
1985 K100rs
Will the tranny from a 1991 K100lt mate to my engine without issues???

Transmissions in K75's, K100's and K1100's are all the same.  Difference is 2 drilled holes in a boss for mounting the paralever.  So the answer is yes.

Only caveat,  check the spline count. Some early k's may have been different

Only in the FD end of the drivshaft.
