Title: K11 to Newfoundland
Post by: CrashBar on June 28, 2011, 05:41:28 AM
Just returned from an 8 day, 3300 mile trip from Boston to Newfoundland via New Brunswick, Cape Breton Highlands National Park, North Sydney-to-Port Au Basque Ferry, St. Anthony's (northern end), Bonavista, St John's, Argencia-to-North Sydney Ferry, and back.

Beautiful country, lousy weather (low 40's and rain most of Newfoundland), nice people, very expensive (pretty much everything was 2x what we spent doing the Natchez Trace last year).   A fair amount of bikes (even some K-bikes) considering the weather.

At 113,000 miles my K is still running strong - the perfect bike for such a trip, in my opinion.

Need to go back to work today, but I'll add a few pics later on.
