Hi guys,
I would like to strip, polish and rebuild my fuel cap on my '85 K100.
But when I started looking at the cap, I noticed that it's different than all the other caps I saw here on the forum.
It has a push button to open the cap. And the key is used to lock the push button. So it's possible to open the cap without the key.
The problem is that the mecanism is not screwed to the cap, but they used some kind of rivets...
Can I just drill them out and try to use some screws when I put the cap back together?
