Title: Water pump cover

Are the K100 and K1100 water pump covers the same? I ask because I purchased a K1200 water pump as a backup and want to throw a cover on it so its ready to at a moments notice. There is a K1100 cover close to me so if they are the same     I wanted to get it.

Well, according to the online parts breakdown, the K100 and the K1100 use the same cover.11 51 1 460 257.

The K1200's use a different part 11 51 1 464 867 for the pump housing.

I would say no..

Hmm, one of the other members on here said they used a K1200 pump combined with the K100 front cover and it worked like magic. I'll keep looking.
