How bout if you test one out and let us know how it works out? That's not a bad price for a drop in pump -- the Ford pump I have required some mods -- for the 80 bucks I'd probably have gone this one if it had been an option at the time.

that's the dilemma i'm in.  i've done the ford pump, worked fine but i have less time to fiddle this time 'round.

i did finally find a couple references to them preexisting my accidental discovery

Seems the first issue would be which motobrick needs the new FP and what size the original pump is. If you're replacing the FP on one that's already had a Ford FP in it, then wouldn't you want to just go with another one of those since you've already made the wiring mod to accommodate it?

i did leave that a little unclear didn't i?

i put a ford pump in a k75c

i currently have a k100rs that has all the same problems as the k75 did.

i did disassemble and clean the stock pump last night, because i can't make it any worse, and it spun again on the bench.  i might just do new hoses, filter and strainer for now and see how long it lasts, except that the dern vibration damper also needs to be replaced and costs nearly as much as the complete swap to the ford pump.

i'm sure i'll think about this all day at work.

unrelated complaint:  pulling the gas tank off an RS is not nearly as simple as the C.
