Title: oil filter cover O-Ring gasket

    first oil change in my recently purchased 85 k100....oil filter cover gasket...is that a dealer only option, or is there another vendor....THANKS.....Coondog

I'm sure if you brought a new one to a good auto parts store like NAPA they could match it up

i get the packs of filters crush washers and o rings from bonerbeemyard (http://www.beemerboneyard.com/oilfiltersetc.html)...

getts the master filter pack and a couple 6 pack kits of washers and rings and you are good for 6 years...

some folks replace the o ring every other filter change... they are know as cheep old geezers...
