Just wondered if there are any good plug readers here.
After 200 miles on my replacement engine, I took mine out for an inspection.
The good news is that all are consistent in colour, but they do indicate lean to me,
I know these bikes run lean anyway, but is this normal.

Yeah, they do look a bit lean to me as well. But I am not experienced enough with these engines to know if that is going to hurt anything. If we were dealing with carburetors I'd probably go for a bit bigger main jet, but only after double checking the ignition timing and the valve clearances.
Remind me, does the bike have an aftermarket exhaust?

No aftermarket pipe.
Everything bog standard.
I have posted up this photo on another forum I frequent, and the concensus there is that they look fine.
I'll probably get it hooked up to a gas analyzer sommetime soon.

Look fine to me. But thanks for the reminder, I should pull mine for a look see too. Haven't done that in a while.

look good to me. Electrode has decent tan color shifting near tip, base of threads should be almost sooty, porcelain can be white with just a bit of tan, Hard to tell too much from that photo.

Is it practical/or even possible to change the fuel/mixture?...well, I'm sure it possible, but wondering if one can make such adjustments easily. Just curious really, my bike runs super right now, but I have seen the plugs look much more 'fouled' than those for sure.

trial and error... when i was looking for more top end... i backed out the jets 1 turn... the skin on my face would yaw to the side if my nose wasnt exactly straight... i went in 1/2 turn and all is yeeehaaaa again... more top end with no yawing facial skin...

I've checked, and there is the facility to perform this adjustment on the UK model, but not other European bikes.
Strange.
I don't know what applies to your models.
