Title: Classy K rebuild and chop!

Been working on this bike for the past few months. Drove her home 2 hours from Tampa and proceeded to tear down to the block for refinishing and maintenance overhaul. I will get much better pictures once she's out on the road.

electroless nickle... colt did mine... and of course its expensive... $$$$ and that was 32 years ago...

Oil pan got plated with electroless nickel

Pennzoil 10-40 custom misted patina.  Amazingly cheap and effective :riding:

I did the Plating in house so it didn't cost me much. Its extremely durable and corrosion resistance is superior to pretty much anything else. Toughest part was sealing up the piece so I didn't plate the inside!
