Has anyone changed the original blinkers with leds ? is is enough to put resistors ? what kind ?

This is what I used: 50W 6Ohm LED Load Resistors (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GQ2TC14/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B00GQ2TC14&linkCode=as2&tag=cinematographyco&linkId=ACENU5SRO6DZ5ZBJ)

I cut the pin of the chip in the flasher unit.  Works great no resistors needed
