I got home today after riding my yamaha to work to discover that the HOA maintenance staff had blown debris under my motorcycle cover and up into the bike....There was an amazing amount of dust, dirt, and debris all over the bike. I am requesting that the HOA cover the cost for a full detail to clean the bike. Any thoughts on the best way to clean the bike? I don't want to use a blower and blow dirt and debris further into the bike...

That sucks. Lucky for them BMW riders don't wear cuts.

I think johnny would suggest going on a yeeeaaaahaaaa ride

I'd go over with a good wet vac with brush and crevasse tools, maybe then a leaf blower, soap it down hose it off and good to go. Shouldn't have harmed anything.

+1 Exactly what I was going to suggest except I would use the exhaust from the shop vac instead of a leaf blower.

Yeah it is just really frustrating. My bike wasn't the only one to get covered in crap either...

thats right... go for a ride and getts your yeeehaaa on...
my motobriocks lived outside under covers for years... some hotels would have their crew moe and trim and blow that debris off the parking lot... and under my cover...
my motobricks looked like that just abouts everytime i would go riding...
especially bad after a santa ana wind event... sand goat heads palm tree in every knook...
ride... just ride...
