I have some play in my throttle and I've searched and found no mention of how to adjust it, if possible. I see the adjuster for the "choke", but can't locate one for the throttle cable. maybe I should follow " if it works, don't fix it"?

My 91 has a boot on the cable where it exits the throttle housing. Under that boot is an adjuster.
-
thanks, I'll look
-
There is also another adjuster at the throttle body end of the cable.

is that easy to get to, i dont see it

Mine doesn't have a cable adjuster on the throttle body end, just a throttle body idle adjustment screw that I think we're not supposed to adjust.
The cable should be adjusted up at the handlebar end.
-
thanks, looks easy enough

Where can I find an adjuster? The bike I just bought was using a Bilwell throttle and had removed the stock levers. I put them back on but I'm missing this adjustment option.

Not sure, having a hard time finding this one on realoem.
-
it maybe part of the oe bowden cable...
-
All of the cables I'm seeing for sale on different sites don't have the adjuster. That and not seeing it on realoem led me to believe that it's a separate part or maybe the updated version of the cable but I'm not sure.
