hi guys, whilst out today riding a 640km loop from Christchurch ,kurow, omarama, mt cook{pictured} and back to Christchurch. new Zealand.
it was an absolutely brilliant clear day with empty roads. 7.5 hrs including 2 fuel stops and a lunch break. my bike just purred the whole way.
during the ride i noticed the bottom of a black corrugated plastic hose flapping about inside my front fairing just where you can reach in and adjust the headlight.
I had never seen it before so I guess it has become un-tucked from somewhere.
what is it? some sort of drain from inside where the windscreen retracts? any enlightenment appreciated.

cheers for that Inge.
one must have snapped off half way down to where the diagram shows it should exit the front cowling.
good one thanks for the quick reply
