Did not want to pay what BMW wants for their stupid plunger brake light switches on my k75. Ordered a universal pull switch and rigged up a set up that works and isn't too obtrusive. Only needed to fab a small angle bracket to bolt on the handlebar mount, and drill a 1/16 hole in the edge of the brake lever. Splice the wires into the old switches harness. There is not much movement so adjusting the switch in and out is touchy, but do-able. I was able to angle the bracket a little to line up with the hole in the brake lever. The rod travels through the hole where the original switch screwed in. I may add a washer to the brake handle where the rod is bent so it doesn't wear down the aluminum.

The cheapskate in me approves. Excellent high quality bodge! Probably works as well as stock too! :euro :2thumbup:

So far so good. My bike has an embarrassing number of hinges, fasteners and latches from Home Depot or Lowes on it. most have lasted much longer than the original BMW parts they replaced.
