Title: K Bike ABS

Can anyone tell me in simple laymen's terms how to bleed a K bike brake system that has ABS? Front was no problem, but I cannot get the rear to bleed. My bike is a 94 K1100LT that sat for 2 1/2 years. Thanks!

Master cylinder to abs module, then abs module to caliper.

gonna need a complete flush fill bleed... gotta keep that brake fluid fresh or it will cause whack...

i bleed mine a couple times a year... abs 1st till it runs clear... calipers 2nd till it runs clear...

the open slow bleed close repeat works well compared to the push hold bleed does not work at all...

Thanks so much for the quick responses. I guess I should have been a little more specific with my question. I filled the ABS unit with DOT 4 fluid, slowly pumped the rear brake lever, but no fluid appears to be getting to the rear master cylinder, since no fluid comes out of the caliper bleed valve when I crack it open. The rear brake will not even begin to "pump up". Could this be an air lock problem brought on by 2 1/2 years of setting?

I'm not sure about the 1100's, but on the 100's and 75's the only place to add brake fluid is at the reservoirs which feed the master cylinders.

While adding fluid to the reservoirs you bleed the ABS module until the fluid is clean, and then bleed the caliper until the fluid is clean.
