Has anyone tried a 170/60-18 rear tire on a K100RS? (Instead of the 160/60 stocker.) That's all I can get where I am living at the moment, it seems like it should fit, has anyone tried it?
Thanks!

Should fit, though (depending upon the tires profile) it might affect the handling.
Is this a "stuck in the sticks and needing a tire to get home situation?"
-or-
Just live in an area that is hard to get parts shipped in?
Some here might be able to help depending upon the "sitcheeashun". (Last bit was for Johnny) :hehehe

It looks like it would be really close, as the existing gap with the 160/60 I can not fit the tip of my little finger in (not a scientific measuring tool I know :)
That's why I was hoping to hear if anyone has done it on the K100RS or not, I don't know if the 1100 bikes use the same swingarm.
What about the spacers?
Thanks

Just to confuse things I know on mine it is a tight fit to get a 160/60 Dunlop Roadsmart in between exhaust & swingarm(have to let tire down)whereas a 160/60 Michelin PR2 goes in much easier. So you may be able to fit a 170/60 of one make but not another.
