Title: Guard Dog Moly Gear Oil Additive
Post by: frankenduck on June 18, 2011, 07:09:19 PM
About 12,000 miles ago I added this stuff to the final drive and transmission of my K1100LT. Yesterday when I drained both of them prior to doing a spline lube both of the magnetic drain plugs had virtually nothing on them.

The bike also started shifting a little better after 1,000 miles or so.

I guess this stuff works.

Either that or it demagnetizes the shavings. :D

I hereby give it frankenduck seal of approval:

Note that they also sell GD-525 which is a good long-lasting moly lube for splines.
