Graham from just outside of Norwich here. I will try and add a photo of the old girl shortly (the bike, not the wife!)
I have just bought a silver 1987 K75s and I enjoy it more than my one year old K1300R, possibly cos it cost 1/4 of what I have lost in depreciation on the new one - Never again, you can keep all your ABS, ESA, GSA, etc. Give me three cylinders instead.
Selfish git that I am, I have joined this forum to pick all the other members brains.
Plus I hope that someone in the UK wants to swap their Umpa Lumpa friendly seat for my proper person sized seat!

Hi Graham. Welcome

Welcome.. :2thumbup:

Welcome, I've had mine since 86, tried the K1, 1200's, R's, never saw enough reason to change. The old K just does everything I ask and is dirt cheap and trouble free. All the alphabet soup stuff is just more to go wrong that you can't fix with a hammer. Then I added the Ural, (had it out in 5" new snow today) which makes the K seem like a futuristic rocket ship. Life is good :riding:

welcome..I hope you find the seat you want.

Welcome from the western fringe of East Anglia. I have had my K75S just less than a year and I am lovin' it, especially being able to do almost everything myself with a straightforward toolkit and not a computer diagnostic in sight. As for seats, I'm 5'11" so definitely not in the market for an Umpa Lumpa version.

Welcome Glacial! Ah Yes....a 1987 K75. Miss mine! May add to my collection of one bike :hehehe if all goes well this summer. Have an insider with a pristine bike!

Hi Graham/Bedders. Hope you've still got the bike and plenty of new knowledge. I'm just down the road from you.
