Title: New fuel gauge

Hey guys-
How easy would it be to to wire this fuel gauge on my 87 k75?:

I figure I'd ask before buying.

My instrument cluster has been completely removed.

It's no info about which ohm area this instrument is using to function properly.
The sender in our tank have the area 110/3 ohm empty/full.
This is the opposite to what most fuel level gauges using (normally it's the highest resistance when full).
But the sender can be reversed, but you need to take out of the tank to do this.

With some basic C/Arduino programming, you could add a voltage divider circuit to my mpg gauges and display the fuel level. Could also make a converter circuit for the fuel level gauge as well.

I'm prototyping a fuel gauge that uses an Arduino and a single LED.  Should end up looking like the battery gauge from Sparkbright (http://www.sparkbright.co.uk/sparkright-monsoon-battery-voltage-monitor.php)..

Thanks guys. Unfortunately, I don't do much beyond connecting wires and assuming stuff works. So, I'll put this on the back burner until I get time to learn about electricity.  :dunno2:

@Robert - That's awesome and exactly what I want to do... I'd even pay you to make me a cool arduino hook up...??...?
