Title: New to the K75 in LA
Post by: el cerdo on November 18, 2014, 11:39:13 PM
Hi all, thanks for all the informative posts and general awesomeness I've found on this forum. Bought my first bike (a 1990 K75S) a few months ago and have been slowly upgrading parts and acquiring safety gear. I've been a bicycle commuter for about 14 years, but found it hard to get to all the camping, rock climbing and hiking spots I'd like to check out. I'm hoping my K75 will help me explore this beautiful country we live in.

Nice bike but that lock and chain would not stop me from taking it.

Yeah, I hear ya on the lock. Unfortunately, there's nothing solid to chain it to in our parking area. Usually the lock is on the other side of the bike going around the swing arm and through the spokes. It's a Kryptonite chain with an American lock. Also, it's totally blocked in by cars and my neighbors are pretty watchful. Hopefully that's enough.

No better way to see this country, hell, this planet, than from the saddle of a motorcycle.

Gorgeous. I have a 1995 K1100LT but I am jealous if your ride.
