Hi. Starting working on my project I'm facing more and more problems. Now I stuck on handlebar. Just bought the new ones, much toler and wider so of course wires set and linkage seemce much to short. But the problem is also with the handlebar dimension as brick has 22 mm and all moders handlebars in Europe are 22,2 mm!! looks rediculous but germans are very detailed and this 0,2 mm make impossible to mount rolgaz and also other switches. I stuck and calculate all and the result is: I WANT TO CHANGE ALL HANDLEBAR CONTROLS, everything as I must make longer all connection anyway. I'm thinking to use controls from japmotorcycle but have no idea (so far) how to start and from which jap scrap I can have a donner? Anyone have idea? Any suggestions? Also the good thing is that I'll do turn controls as they are in majority european bikes on left swich. But here is another question if there are any "catches" doing such replacement? From my point of view looks simple just many hours of work but maybe I'm wrong. Please advice before I cut off controls cables.
So far I did changes as you can see on the pic, but of course will do full documentary.
