red brake lite stays on all the time ,abs lite goes off after both brakes depressed when rolling ? is this a fluid level warning and does it need to be reset in the abs module if level was low,

I'd try disconnecting the brake switch quick-connects one at a time and determine if it's the front or rear that's malfunctioning.
I had to clean and WD40 my rear switch once when it was sticking.

Tim is assuming by "red brake lite" you mean the brake light at the rear of the bike. Is that what you mean? Or do you mean the red indicator on the dash, the one with the triangle? If you have a blown bulb, this indicator will remain lit after pressing both brake levers. Check your rear brake light bulb.

Could be a faulty switch on either the front or rear brake. I had a rear brake switch mess up on me just before a 4 day trip away - not impressed! Both are pretty easy to replace if you have some basic skills. Easy to test too!

It could be that the brake lever isn't returning to home position all the way when released. I had a situation where the brake lever wasn't screwed in completely, resulting in some free play at the lever. Since the lever wasn't returning to home position completely, the circuit that turns off the light wasn't closing so the light was always on. All I had to do as tighten up the mounting screws on the lever and the problem went away.
